Description

Greek mythology teaches that the Olympian gods are immortal beings, governing the life and death of human beings. Meet the latest Visconti Mythos, Poseidon, the protector of seafarers and the guardian of many Hellenic cities and colonies.

"Hear me, Sea-lord, you who embrace the earth - don't deny our wishes, bring our prayers to pass!" - Homer

The Visconti Mythos Poseidon Fountain Pen pen is a stunning example of Visconti's design philosophy. The dark sea blue resin captures the essence of the deep sea, where Poseidon was believed to dwell and rule over the waves and storms. In coordination with the dark color of the resin, for the first time in the collection, features a ruthenium nib and trims. Both the pen's body and trims are sandblasted to create an elegant contemporary feel to the design.

Original Mythos:

Apollo is the god of the arts, music, poetry and science. He is the son of Zeus and the symbols that identify him are, among others, the Sun, the lyre, the bow and arrow.

  • Apollo: Brown with Bronze Shading

Aphrodite is the goddess of love and beauty. Daughter of Zeus, her most recognizable symbols are the dove and the sparrow.

  • Aphrodite: Purple with Bronze Shading

Zeus is King of the gods and ruler of Mount Olympus, god of the sky, lightning and atmospheric phenomena. The thunderbolt is his symbol for excellence.

  • Zeus: Blue with Bronze Shading
