Switchman's The Legendary Orient, or Ottoman Violet, evokes the inky and mysterious veil of night as only deep and subtle purple can. It recalls the mystery and adventure of the Orient Express, inspired by the very same legend which inspired Agathe Christie, Ian Flemming, Bram Stoker, David Copperfield, and so many others.
Switchman inks prioritize dry speed over permanence and will dry rapidly even when used in very wet pens. They will resist feathering on highly absorbent papers (printer paper, for example) and are tuned to minimize dry-in while still within pens. Switchman inks shade beautifully and many boast color variation the more thickly they are applied.
