Switchman's Seguin's Dream, or Smoky Pink, honors one of the earliest innovators in locomotion, the French inventor and famed bridge-builder, Marc Seguin. Having witnessed an English locomotive in 1825, Seguin set out to bring steam locomotion to his homeland of France. By 1829, his dream became a reality and elevated him high in the scientific community of France. This and his many other achievements eventually earned Seguin a place amongst the 72 whose names Gustave Eiffel inscribed upon his famed tower. Smoky Pink shades through layers of rich brown, yielding rusty reds and plumes of deep brown. Industry and ambition in a bottle!

Switchman inks prioritize dry speed over permanence and will dry rapidly even when used in very wet pens. They will resist feathering on highly absorbent papers (printer paper, for example) and are tuned to minimize dry-in while still within pens. Switchman inks shade beautifully and many boast color variation the more thickly they are applied.
