Switchman's Gateway of Liberty, or Patina Green, yields shade upon shade of green hues inspired by the similar tones found in the copper cladding of the Statue of Liberty. While predominantly blue-green in color, the statue's patina reveals a striking green here and there (and throughout under the right light) which captivates. Patina Green is Switchman's salute to those who braved uncertainty in the pursuit of the opportunity to build a new life for themselves and their families.
Switchman inks prioritize dry speed over permanence and will dry rapidly even when used in very wet pens. They will resist feathering on highly absorbent papers (printer paper, for example) and are tuned to minimize dry-in while still within pens. Switchman inks shade beautifully and many boast color variation the more thickly they are applied.
