Pre-Owned Montblanc Writers Edition Jonathan Swift Fountain Pen

Part of Montblanc’s Writers Edition series, this 2012 release honors Jonathan Swift, the  author of Gulliver’s Travels. The design features motifs that evoke the novel’s imagery: a black lacquer barrel wrapped in multi-layered silver inlays that evoke the ropes binding Gulliver in Lilliput, while the black resin cap takes the shape of his tricorn hat and bears Swift’s signature. The rhodium-plated 18k gold nib is engraved with the Lilliputian imperial army marching between Gulliver’s legs. Limited to 12,000 fountain pens worldwide, this pen is number 09368.

The pen has been well loved, with micro abrasions along the body and cap of the pen. There is a section of the silver trim surrounding the finial where the plating has rubbed off slightly. This area is small, and pictured in the listing photos. Fills via internal piston. Does not include original box.
