Handcrafted in Italy, the Columbus features a barrel crafted from historic Amerigo Vespucci wood paired with rich sea-blue resin, evoking the ships and oceans that defined the Age of Discovery. The cap is crowned by an intricately sculpted 925 sterling silver caravel, created using the centuries-old lost-wax casting process and finished entirely by hand. Every detail reflects the care and artistry that have become hallmarks of the Nino Marino Signature Collection.

The fountain pen is fitted with a palladium-plated 14-karat gold nib, available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub 1.1, Flex Extra Fine, and Flex Fine. A fixed piston filling system, crafted in the Maiora workshops, provides generous ink capacity and dependable performance for both everyday writing and long-form correspondence.
