Description

The Esterbrook Estie OS Scarlet with Palladium Trim Fountain Pen, a new edition to the Estie Core Collection, is a callback to the Golden Age of Hollywood inspired by the old glamour and the silver screen starlets who set Los Angeles (and a few men's hearts) ablaze. The oversized body is made of premium vibrant red turned acrylic resin with dashes of blue, honoring the romantic leading ladies of the silver screen while reflecting the passion, courage and action they embodied on and off the screen. Completed with Palladium trim this Estie fountain pen has an elegant and decorative look. Using Esterbrook’s cushion closure system which creates a seal when closed, coupled with a screw close cap, prevents the tip from drying bring a completely satisfying writing experience.

History:

Esterbrook began manufacturing nibs in the US in the mid 1800s, but the 1930s were a period of importance, as they introduced their first interchangeable nib system in 1933. The interchangeable nibs gave the user many options for writing, whether in school, business, personal etc. Today, a similar system is reborn with the Estie and the specially engineered MV Nib Adaptor. The MV adaptor delivers a vintage nib experience with a modern shape Esterbrook pen.
