The Conklin 1898 Limited Edition Fountain Pen celebrates the legacy of one of America's oldest pen makers with an exclusive design limited to just 198 individually numbered pieces worldwide. Crafted from a striking black and green resin produced by Jonathon Brooks of the Carolina Pen Company, each pen features a unique swirling pattern, ensuring no two writing instruments are exactly alike. A newly designed clip and individually numbered cap complete this collectible edition.

Inspired by Conklin's heritage, the 1898 collection pairs classic cigar-shaped styling with a comfortably sized profile that offers excellent balance and a generous grip for extended writing sessions.

Each fountain pen is fitted with a German-made JoWo #6 black stainless steel nib, available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.1mm Stub, or Omniflex. Every nib is individually tested by Conklin to ensure smooth, reliable performance and features the brand's signature crescent-shaped breather hole.

The optional JoWo Omniflex nib provides added softness and moderate line variation when gentle pressure is applied. For best performance, flex should be limited to approximately twice the nib's normal line width. Excessive pressure may affect nib alignment and ink flow.

The Conklin 1898 fills via standard international ink cartridges or the included threaded converter, allowing writers to enjoy the convenience of cartridges or the versatility of bottled ink.
