Vietnamese lacquer, known as sơn ta or laccol, is a natural tree-resin lacquer valued for its distinctive depth, flexibility, and warm sheen. Its slower curing process allows the material to develop a rich sense of depth and character, creating a finish with an enduring beauty that sets Vietnamese lacquer apart.
Natural shell inlays reveal flashes of green, blue, violet, silver, and gold as they catch the light. The clean vertical arrangement gives the pen a balanced, elegant appearance while allowing the natural variation of each piece of shell to remain distinctive.
