Hobonichi 2026 Weeks - Kyohei Sakaguchi: En Route to Kumamoto Port at Dawn

This Weeks is designed with artwork that allows you to enjoy the beautiful view of a stunning dawn sky, which usually only lasts a fleeting moment in real time.

Light purple fades into salmon pink in a gentle gradation that looks like the color is pouring out from the sky and into the mountains. It’s a color scheme that’s a joy to look at, and the beautiful composition offers a spacious feeling.

The year 2026 is foil-pressed in a silver color with a subdued shine, which Sakaguchi had picked out alongside his family. The cover material has a canvas-like feel, which both allows the print to turn out well, and offers a texture that’s nice to the touch.

The Weeks is a slim, long wallet-sized planner that is light and portable. It has a weekly horizontal layout with the weekly pages on the left and grid memo pages on the right. Each weekly spread also contains the characteristic “Daily Quote” on the bottom of the page. The book holds plenty of graph-ruled memo pages for note-taking at the end of the book.

The Weeks book has space for writing in plans or journal entries, and it also has 69 pages of grid paper memo pages in the back (73 pages in the English edition). The back of the book contains bonus pages, including Sample Symbols and Icons and Oodles of Noodles.
