Introducing the newest addition to the Fuji Shunkei series from Platinum. The name of this pen, Rokka, refers to the hexagonal shape in the body of the fountain pen. This hexagonal design is inspired by Mount Fuji in the winter, when it is surrounded by snow and ice.
Each of the pens in the Fuji Shunkei (Fuji Seasons) series is inspired by the view of Mount Fuji at different times of the year.
The original #3776 series was designed by the late writing expert Haruo Umeda, known as “Mr.Fountain Pen,” and released in 1978. It was designed to be the perfect fountain pen. In the last few years, that design has been improved with a redesigned nib and feed and an innovative cap containing Platinum's “Slip & Seal” technology to prevent ink from drying out in the pen. This new "3776 Century" model is named to commemorate Platinum's centennial anniversary in 2019. #3776 expresses the height in meters of Mt. Fuji, the highest and most beautiful peak in Japan.
